SAN JOSE, Calif. - San José State men’s basketball will take on the University of Southern California at the Galen Center in Los Angeles on Wednesday at 7:00 p.m. on Peacock and KTRB 860 AM.
- This game marks the first time SJSU will face USC since 1986.
- The Spartans are coming off a 64-59 loss to UC Santa Barbara on Sunday. Josh Uduje recorded a season high 22 points and seven rebounds in the game.
- The Spartans are averaging the fewest turnovers per game in the Mountain West (7.60).
- SJSU is second in the Mountain West in free throw percentage (.798) and has shot more free throws than its opponent in every game this season.
- Uduje currently leads the Spartans in points (13.8) and rebounds (5.2) per game.
- Sadraque NgaNga tallied 29 points and 12 rebounds on 12-14 shooting against Life Pacific, all of which were career highs. It was also his first career double-double and the first double-double of the season for SJSU.
- Donavan Yap was named to the Outrigger Rainbow Classic All-Tournament Team. Yap hit six threes across the tournament's three games, including three against Hawai'i, one of which was an and-one.
- Yap leads the Spartans in total assists (11) and three pointers made (eight) this season.
- Will McClendon scored a career high 14 points against Pacific. He also went 10-11 from the foul line, setting a new career high in free throws made.
