Spartans Fall to Pacific in First Match of the Outrigger Rainbow Classic

HONOLULU, Hawai’i. - In game one of the Outrigger Rainbow Classic, Josh Uduje tallied 15 points and five rebounds to lead the San José State (0-2, 0-0 MW) men's basketball team in a 80-67 loss to Pacific (2-0, 0-0 WCC) at the SimpliFi Arena at Stan Sheriff Center. 

  • Uduje has now led the Spartans in scoring in both of its games.
  • Will McClendon scored a career high 14 points in the game.
  • McClendon went 10-11 from the foul line, setting a new career high in free throws made.
  • Robert Vaihola notched 12 points, four rebounds, a block and a steal in the game.
  • Sadaidriene Hall matched Uduje with five boards to lead the team.
  • Hall, Donavan Yap and Jermaine Washington each knocked down a three pointer.

UP NEXT: The Spartans will stay in Honolulu, Hawai’i to take on Hawai’i on Sunday, Nov. 10 at 7 p.m. for the second game of the Outrigger Rainbow Classic. The game will stream on ESPN+.
