SAN JOSE, Calif. - Josh Uduje recorded his fifth straight 20 point performance to lead the San José State (7-7, 0-2 MW) men's basketball team in a 73-71 loss to Boise State (10-3, 2-0 MW) at the Provident Credit Union Event Center. 

  • There were four lead changes in the final three minutes of the game.
  • Down two points with five seconds to go, Will McClendon intentionally missed his second free throw. Sadaidriene Hall grabbed the rebound, but was unable to get the ball in the basket to tie the game as time expired.
  • Uduje scored 22 points in the game on 8-11 shooting. He is the first Spartan since Adrian Oliver in 2011 (Jan. 27 - Feb. 15) to record five straight 20 point games. 
  • Uduje now has scored 20 or more points in eight games this season, leading the Mountain West.
  • Robert Vaihola recorded 11 points and led the Spartans with eight rebounds.
  • McClendon knocked down three threes in the game.
  • McClendon has hit three or more three pointers in three of his last four games.
  • Hall had two blocks and two steals in the game.
