SAN JOSE, Calif. - San Jose State women’s basketball will play New Year’s Day in their Mountain West home opener against UNLV on Wednesday, Jan. 1, at 1:00 p.m. (PT) from Provident Credit Union Event Center. You can watch the game on the Mountain West Network.

  • Sydni Summers finished with seven points and one rebound while going 2-for-6 from behind the arc. Both three-point field goals came in the fourth quarter as the Spartans made their late comeback.
  • This was the Spartans’ second consecutive game with more than three players scoring in double digits. 
  • The Spartans outshot the Wolf Pack from behind the arc, going 4-for-15.
  • Scoring in the paint continues to be a steady trend for the team with 36 points coming inside the paint in this game.
