ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. - Robert Vaihola recorded his first double-double of the season to go along with three assists and a career-high four blocks to lead the San José State (4-6, 0-1 MW) men's basketball team in a 83-77 loss to New Mexico (7-2, 1-0 MW) at The Pit.
- Vaihola’s double-double, consisting of 10 points and 11 rebounds, was the fourth of his career.
- This was the first game this season Vaihola recorded double-digit rebounds and the second game in a row he has scored double-digits.
- Josh Uduje scored 22 points in the game. He also knocked down three three’s and collected three steals.
- This is the fourth time this season Uduje has scored 20 points or more in a game.
- Will McClendon recorded 20 points, marking his second career game scoring 20 or more points.
- This was the second time this season Uduje and McClendon scored 20 points or more in the same game.
- Sadraque NgaNga recorded eight points and went 2-2 from beyond the arc in just seven minutes of action.
- Sadaidriene Hall recorded eight points, six rebounds, two blocks and a steal in his fourth consecutive start.
- The Spartans led the Lobos for nearly 32 minutes in the game.
