This Week: The Spartans will play two games this week, one home and one away. First on Tuesday, Jan. 14 against New Mexico from Provident Credit Union Event Center and second, on Saturday, Jan. 18 on the road against Nevada.
Last Week: SJSU narrowly fell to No. 25 Utah State 85-78 at home and then defeated Air Force on the road 69-62.
Spartan Fact: The Spartans hit a season-high 14 threes against No. 25 Utah State (1/7/25). SJSU is one of two teams to make 14 threes in a conference game this season.

This Week: The Spartans will play Boise State on the road on Wednesday, Jan. 15.
Last Week: SJSU went 1-1 in two home games. The Spartans fell to Fresno State 77-64, but defeated Air Force 90-84.
Spartan Fact: The Spartans’ 90 points against Air Force was the most this season against a Division One opponent, as well as the most of Coach Phillip’s career against a Division One opponent.

This Week: The Spartans will open the 2025 season at the Polopalooza in Fresno, Calif. SJSU will compete against Cal on Jan. 17, Hawaii and Michigan on Jan. 18 and UC San Diego on Jan. 19.

Women’s Gymnastics
This Week: The Spartans travel to Oregon State for a meet this Friday, Jan. 17 at 7 p.m. in Corvallis, Ore. The team will also compete on MLK Day at the Wasatch Classic at the Maverick Center in West Valley Utah. SJSU will compete with Arizona State, Boise State and Iowa State.
Last Time: Madison Kirsch and Madison Gustitus won two event titles each as the Spartans opened the 2025 season Sunday at Sacramento State. The team scored a 193.825.
