A Pair of Spartans Invited to All-Star Bowl Games

SAN JOSE, Calif. - San José State football players Nick Nash and Soane Toia have been invited to all-star bowl games to finish their collegiate careers. Nash will be playing in the East-West Shrine Bowl on Jan. 30 from AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, at 5:00 p.m. (PT) on the NFL Network, while Toia will be playing in the Trillion Tropical Bowl at 8:00 a.m. (PT) on Jan. 19 from Orlando, Fla.

Washington Commanders defensive lineman Viliami Fehoko is the last Spartan invited to play in the East-West Shrine Bowl in 2023, and former Spartan Chase Williams played in the Trillion Tropical Bowl last year.
