FRESNO, Calif.—Darcy Spark and Bridget Cranley each scored twice Friday night for the preseason No. 18th ranked San José State women’s water polo team, as the Spartans opened the season against No. 4 California at the Polopalooza in Fresno.
- The Golden Bears won the match 19-7.
- Spark scored both her goals in the first half, while Cranley scored her two in the fourth quarter.
- Emma Ruzic, Genevieve Larkin and Rose Jensen each recorded a goal for SJSU.
- Goalie Grace Smith recorded six saves, while Tatianna Raffin played the final quarter and made one save.
