COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo.—San José State women’s gymnasts Katherine Weyhmiller and Madison Gustitus have been honored by the Mountain West for their performances in meets at the Wasatch Clasic and at Oregon State.

- Recorded a league-best 9.925 on beam to win the event at the Wasatch Classic
- Added a 9.800 on bars in the meet

Co-Freshman of the Week
- Scored a 9.850 on beam at Oregon State Friday to record the highest score for a freshman over the past week
- Added a 9.750 on floor in the meet
UP NEXT – The Spartans open the 2025 home portion of the schedule this Sunday, January 26, with the Spartan Quad meet featuring Boise State, Sacramento State, UC Davis and the Spartans. The meet begins at 2 p.m., with doors opening at 12:30 p.m.
