
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – San José State softball junior Reina Zermeno was selected to the Preseason All-Mountain West Team, as announced by the conference on Thursday.
Zermeno was selected to the All-Mountain West Second Team last season, where she was a key contributor for the Spartans, leading the team in all of the top offensive categories, including hits (50), HRs (7), RBIs (38), batting average (.394), and slugging percentage (.677).
The Spartans kick off their 2025 campaign on Feb. 7-9 at the NorCal Kickoff hosted by UC Davis and Sacramento State.

- Hit .533 with eight hits, six RBIs, six runs scored, four doubles, a home run, two stolen bases, plus had a 1.000 slugging pct. and a .533 on-base pct. in five games at the Judi Garman Classic (3/1/24-3/3/24)
- Had a season-high nine-game hit streak (2/16/24-3/3/24)
