FORT COLLINS, Colo. - Sydni Summers led with 12 points, Amira Brown scored nine points and Stella Sgro added seven points to lead San José State women’s basketball (7-9, 0-3 MW) in an 87-51 loss against Colorado State (12-4, 3-0 MW) from Moby Arena on Saturday afternoon.
- Summers finished with 12 points, one rebound, four assists, and two steals while going 4-for-12 from the field and 2-for-6 from behind the arc.
- This is the second consecutive game Summers has had four assists and the fifth time this season.
- Brown scored nine points to go with three rebounds, and two assists while going 1-for-2 from behind the arc.
- Brown set a new career high with her 35 minutes of game time.
- Sgro finished with eight points to go with four rebounds while going 3-for-6 from the field and 2-for-3 from behind the arc.
- The freshman set new career highs in three-point field goals made and rebounds.
- Amiah Simmons contributed seven points, three rebounds, one assist, and one steal.
- Marisa Davis-Jones led the team with eight rebounds to go with six points.
- Davis-Jones set a new season high with her eight rebounds.
- SJSU scored 20 points off of the bench; this is the ninth game this year the Spartans have scored 20 or more off the bench.
