SAN MARTIN, Calif.—Moa Andersson and Rebecca Gyllner tied their matches on Tuesday at the Battle of the Bay women’s golf match play between No. 40 San José State and No. 2 Stanford at CordeValle Golf Club.
- Stanford won the match 4-0-2.
- Anderson tied Meja Ortengren after tying the match on hole 16, and both players matched each other over the final two holes.
- Gyllner tied Leigh Chien after leading 1up heading into the 18th before Chien won the hole to tie the match.
UP NEXT—The Spartans co-host the Juli Inkster at Meadow Club Invitational next Monday and Tuesday, March 3-4, at Meadow Club in Fairfax. The teams will play 36 holes on the first day beginning at 8:15 a.m., with the final 18 holes on Tuesday starting at 8:30 a.m.
