ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – Kendall McCoy set a season-best score in the Pentathlon, including a lifetime best time in the 800m, while the Distance Medley Relay squads put in a season-best performance leading San José State Track & Field on the first day of competition at the 2025 Mountain West Track and Field Indoor Championships on Thursday from Albuquerque Convention Center.
- McCoy, competing in the Women’s Pentathlon, finished with a season-best score of 3459.
- Across all of her events, McCoy finished the 60m Hurdles with a time of (8.70), the high jump with a mark of 1.52m (4’ 11¾”), the Shotput with a mark of 10.17m (33’ 4½”), the Long Jump with a mark of 5.23m (17’ 2”), and finally a lifetime best in the 800m with a time of 2:31.28.
- In the Men’s Distance Medley Relay, the squad of Michael Chadwick, Cooper Decillo, Adrian Gomez, and Alexander Walker finished with a season-best time of 10:23.68.
- In the Women’s Distance Medley Relay, the team of Grace Scott, Savana Dutton, Nereyda Alvarez-Gonzalez, and Amanda Chalburg finished with a time of 13:02.17.
