BERKELEY, Cailf.—Freshman Ava Johnson led the Spartan floor team with a 9.850 Sunday afternoon as the San José State women’s gymnastics team finished the Cal Quad Meet with a 194.150 at Haas Pavilion.
- Johnson scored a 9.850 on floor for the second consecutive meet.
- The floor team started the meet with a 48.825, the third-highest score this season.
- The vault team followed with a 48.775, led by Madison Kirsch’s 9.825.
- Kirsch led the beam team with a 9.850, as they also recorded a 48.775.
UP NEXT – The Spartans host the 2025 Credit Union 1 Mountain West Gymnastics Championship this Saturday, March 22, inside the Provident Credit Union Event Center beginning at 2 p.m. Doors open at 12:30 p.m.
