COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo.—San José State women’s gymnast Madison Kirsch has been named the Mountain West Co-Vault Specialist of the Week for her performance at the Cal Quad.
Kirsch is one of three gymnasts in the conference to record a 9.825 on vault this past week. She finished tied for ninth on vault in the Cal Quad that featured California, Stanford and Arizona State. Kirsch also competed on beam during the meet and scored a 9.850.
The Spartans host the 2025 Credit Union 1 Mountain West Championships this Saturday, March 22, inside the Provident Credit Union Event Center. The meet begins at 2 p.m., with doors opening at 12:30 p.m.
