Albuquerque, N.M. – Sky Hagan took gold and broke her school record in the women’s 60m dash, while Emilia Sjostrand won the women’s triple jump gold medal for the third consecutive season, leading San José State Track & Field on the final day of competition at the 2025 Mountain West Track and Field Indoor Championships on Saturday from Albuquerque Convention Center.
- SJSU won seven medals on Saturday and 10 medals total across all three days of competition at the Mountain West Indoor Championships.
- The Spartans medal breakdown is three bronze (Men’s/Women’s Triple Jump and Women’s Long Jump), five silver (Men’s/Women’s Long Jump, Women’s Triple Jump, Men’s High Jump, and Men’s 400m) and two gold (Women’s Triple Jump and Women’s 60m Dash).
- Four SJSU all-time indoor records were broken this weekend in Albuquerque in the Women’s 200m (23.55), Men’s 800m (1:52.78), and the Women’s 60m Dash (7.32) record was lowered twice in two days.

- Ar’rieya Harper also competing in the Women’s Long Jump finished in eighth place with a mark of 12.02m (39' 5¼”).
- Ethan Fong, in the Men’s Triple Jump, earned bronze with a personal best mark of 14.85m (48' 8¾”)
- Fong won his second medal in as many days, after grabbing silver in the long jump yesterday.
- Fong’s two medals are the first of his career.
- Christopher Coats running in the Men’s 400m Dash Final finished in second grabbing silver with a time of 46.66.
- Coats has won silver in the 400m for two consecutive years now.
- Coats also finished just off the podium in fourth in the Men’s 200m Dash Final with a time of 20.95
- DeShawn Banks competing in the Men’s High Jump, the first event of the day, won silver with a mark of 2.09m (6' 10¼”).
- Alyssa Bean finished fifth in the Women’s 200m Final with a time of 23.65
- Cameron Tarver finished fifth in the Men’s 200m Dash Final with a time of 21.04
- Zion Shelton finished fourth in the Men’s 60m Hurdles with a time of 8.30
- In the Men’s 4x400 Relay, Cooper Decillo, Noah Lawson, Christopher Malone, and Isaiah Gilmore, set a season-best with a time of 3:17.22
