SAN JOSE, Calif.—Four Spartans won championship titles Saturday afternoon to lead the San José State women’s gymnastics team at the Credit Union 1 Mountain West Championships inside an electric Provident Credit Union Event Center.
- Mikaela Pitts and Madison Kirsch tied for the vault title, each scoring a 9.850. They are the second and third Spartans to win a MW vault title after Mia Nelson won in 2024.
- Sophia Konieczny tied for the bars title with a career-best 9.900, the first Spartan to record a 9.900 on bars this season.
- Madison Gustitus tied for first on beam as she tied her season high with a 9.875.
- Devyn Valuch finished second in the all-around with a career-best 39.100.
- Two Spartans tied for second on floor as Ava Johnson and Jaudai Lopes each had a 9.850.
- The Spartans scored a 195.350 to finish third in the team standings behind champion Utah State and Boise State.
