SAN JOSE, Calif. – Jeriah Lewis hit his fourth home run of the season and David Thomas pitched 6.1 out of seven innings to lead the San Jose State baseball team (14-8, 3-2 MW) in a 14-3 win over the Air Force (7-15, 2-3 MW) on Saturday afternoon at Excite Ballpark in the second game of the three game series.
The Spartans wasted no time setting the tone, scoring four runs in the first inning, followed by three more in the second and five in the third. Zach Chamizo led the charge, going 2-for-4 with two doubles and two RBIs, while Lewis added a two-run home run and three RBIs. The Spartans racked up 15 hits, with six different players driving in runs.
On the mound, Thomas (1-1) earned the win, allowing three runs on six hits over 6.1 innings while striking out three. Brady Pavlovsky and Cade Cushing combined for the final two outs to secure the victory.

- Alex Fernandes continued his on base streak, reaching base safely in all 22 games this season.
