STANFORD, Calif. – Keshav "KC" Mungali and Ivan Barahona each recorded a total score of 217 (+7) to lead the San José State men's golf team in the final round of The Goodwin on Saturday at the Stanford Golf Course.
- The Spartans finished in 21st place as a team in a highly competitive field, featuring 13 teams ranked in the national standings.
- Mungali recorded a team-best five birdies while shooting a 72 (+2) in the final round, securing a tie for 67th place.
- Barahona carded a 73 (+3) on Saturday, also finishing in a tie for 67th.
- Avinash Iyer posted the Spartans' best round of the day with a 71 (+1), concluding the tournament with a total score of 221 (+11) and a tie for 97th place.
- Zubair Firdaus shot a 223 (+13) for the tournament, tying for 113th place, while Jed Dy also finished at 223 (+13) after carding a 73 (+3) in the final round.
- Alaric Mercie De Soultrait, competing as an individual, was forced to withdraw due to injury on Thursday.
