LOS ANGELES—Rose Jensen scored three goals as the No. 14 San José State women’s water polo team finished sixth at the 2025 Mountain Pacific Sports Federation Tournament with a 16-6 loss to No. 10 Arizona State.
- Jensen scored SJSU’s first goal of the match and twice in the fourth quarter.
- Twice, she put the ball in the back of the net as the team was in a 6-on-5 situation.
- Bridget Cranley, an MPSF All-Newcomer team selection, scored the only goal of the second quarter for SJSU on a power play.
- Darcy Spark scored the only goal of the third quarter, finishing the season with 73 goals, the sixth-highest total in school history.
- Renee Fleming scored the team’s final goal of the match on a penalty shot with 1:27 left in the match.
- San José State finished the season with a 13-13 overall record.
