SAN JOSE, Calif. - San José State football has signed power-four transfers Ryan Boultwood, Maliki Crawford, Denis Lynch, Robert McDaniel, Caleb Presley, and Mason Starling, plus junior college transfers Trace Hernandez and Solomone Langi for the 2025 season, announced by head coach Ken Niumatalolo on Wednesday. The power-four transfers come from USC, UCLA, Cal, Washington, and Boston College.
Three of the eight transfers were four-star recruits coming out of high school, and the Spartans now have 13 players on their 2025 roster who have transferred from a power-four school. The Spartans open training camp in late July.

- Finished season with 42 receptions in 11 games with six touchdowns and 788 yards in 2024 at Modesto Junior College
- Named All-Valley in 2024
- Had 150 receiving yards with five catches and one touchdown in a win against Fresno (11/30/24)
Solomone Langi, DL, Jr., Provo, Utah/Timpview HS/Snow College
- Ended Snow College career with 19 games played, 47 tackles, 12.5 tackles for loss, and four sacks
- In 2024, he had career-highs with 32 tackles, eight tackles for loss, and four sacks
- Had seven tackles at New Mexico Military (11/2/24)
Denis Lynch, K, Sr-R., Newbury Park, Calif./Newbury Park HS/USC
- Transferred from USC to San José State
- Lynch was USC’s starting kicker in all 13 games as a redshirt sophomore in 2023
- Lynch scored 95 points for the Trojans, going 65-of-66 (98.4%) on extra points and 10-of-14 (71.4%) on field goals
