COLLEGE STATION, Texas – Cameron Tarver finished second in his heat of the Men’s 200m First Round to qualify for the quarterfinals on Friday to lead San José State Track & Field after the first day of competition at the NCAA West Preliminary Rounds hosted by Texas A&M on Wednesday from E.B. Cushing Stadium.
Tarver delivered a strong performance on day one of the NCAA West Preliminary Rounds, securing his place in the quarterfinals of the Men’s 200-meter event with a time of 20.58 seconds. Tarver’s second-place finish in his heat ensures his continued pursuit of a second consecutive appearance at nationals in Eugene.
