COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo.— Sky Hagan has been named the Mountain West Women's Track Athlete of the Week after a first-place finish and personal best at the Fresno State Invitational this past weekend from Veterans Memorial Stadium in Fresno, Calif., as announced by the conference on Tuesday.
- On the second day of competition, Hagan, competing in the Women’s 100m Hurdles won the event with a new personal best mark of 13.22 seconds.
- Hagan’s mark now puts her at number 36 in the nation on the NCAA Outdoor Qualifying List for the Women’s 100m Hurdles.
- Hagan’s time set a new SJSU All-Time Outdoor Record for the Women’s 100m Hurdles, topping her previous record-setting time of 13.26.
- This is the fourth time Hagan has lowered a school record this year across both indoor and outdoor seasons.
- This is the first time Hagan has won the Mountain West weekly award in her career.
