SAN JOSE, Calif. - Japhet Moupadele, a 6-7 forward from France, will join the San José State men’s basketball team for the 2025-26 season, as announced by head coach Tim Miles.
Japhet Moupadele, 6-7, Forward, France / Strasbourg u21
- Joins the Spartans for his freshman season
- Played for Strasbourg u21 team in France, averaging 11.8 points and 4.2 rebounds in 22 minutes per game
- Also played in the u18 FIBA Eurobasket for France last summer, averaging 5.1 points and 2.1 rebounds in 11.9 minutes per game
- France finished fifth out of 16 of the top European countries in the event
- Named to the tryout roster for the France u19 World Cup in Switzerland this summer (June 28-July 6)
