SAN JOSE, Calif.—Two San José State women’s water polo players added to their trophy cases as Darcy Spark and Bridget Cranley were named honorable mention All-America selections by the Association of Collegiate Water Polo Coaches for the 2025 season.

Darcy Spark, So., Attacker, Auckland, New Zealand/Rangitoto College

  • Delfina All-MPSF Second Team selection
  • Led the Spartans in scoring with 73 goals
  • Added 12 assists, 40 steals and 39 drawn exclusions
  • Her 73 goals are the sixth-most scored in a season in San José State history
  • Scored three or more goals in 13 matches
  • Season-high six goals against UC San Diego and five versus CSUMB, UCSD, Santa Clara and Brown
  • Five steals against Harvard and Southern California
  • Has 119 career goals, good for 17th on the San José State career list
  • 21st Spartan to score 100+ goals

Bridget Cranley, Center, Western Australia, Australia/Santa Maria College

  • MPSF All-Newcomer Team
  • Scored 41 goals and assisted on four others in her first season as a Spartan
  • Score 3 or more goals in six matches
  • Five goals against UC Merced and four versus Santa Clara and Pacific
  • Drew 30 exclusions
  • Had 9 steals
