CLEVELAND - San José State football continues to gain national attention as 14 Spartans have been selected to the 2025 Phil Steele Preseason All-Mountain West Team, the most ever for the Spartans, the second most in the Mountain West, and a significant jump from last season’s total of four honorees.
Leading the way for San Jose State are defensive lineman Gafa Faga, offensive lineman Peseti Lapuaho, and linebacker Jordan Pollard, who were each named to the First Team, highlighting the Spartans' elite presence in the trenches.
The Second Team features standout talent from both sides of the ball, including quarterback Walker Eget, linebacker Taniela Latu, safety Isiah Revis, and wide receiver Danny Scudero.
The Spartans' depth continues with four more players on the Third Team: punt returner/wide receiver Matthew Coleman, kicker Denis Lynch, linebacker Ethan Powell, and running back Lamar Radcliffe.
Rounding out the honors on the Fourth Team are punter Trent Carrizosa, defensive lineman Quincy Likio, and cornerback Caleb Presley, showcasing the breadth of talent across the roster.
