LAS VEGAS - San José State football standouts Jordan Pollard, Gafa Faga, and Peseti Lapuaho have been named to the 2025 Preseason All-Mountain West Football Team, as announced by the conference on Wednesday.

Pollard earns his second consecutive preseason All-Mountain West nod, solidifying his status as one of the league’s premier linebackers. Faga and Lapuaho each earn their first preseason All-Mountain West honors, recognized for their emerging dominance on the line of scrimmage.

In addition to individual accolades, the Spartans were picked to finish third in the Mountain West preseason media poll — the program’s highest preseason prediction since the conference eliminated divisions. The projection reflects strong expectations for the Spartans heading into the 2025 campaign.
