SAN JOSE, Calif. - Chol Marial has been named to the National Association of Basketball Coaches Honors Court, the organization announced Thursday morning.
The NABC Honors Court represents achievement in the classroom by men’s college basketball individual players. Recipients for the award includes junior, senior and graduate student men’s basketball players who finished the 2024-25 year with a cumulative GPA of 3.2 or higher.
Chol Marial, Center, Rumbek, South Sudan, Advanced Communication and Research Methods
- Appeared in 28 games, making three starts last season
- Averaged 1.6 points, 2.2 rebounds and 1.1 blocks per game
- Was second on the team with 31 blocks on the season
- Spent three years at Oregon State before transferring to SJSU before last season
