NORMAN, Okla. - San José State men's golf continues to shine both on the course and in the classroom, as three student-athletes have been named 2024–25 NCAA Division I Cobalt Golf All-America Scholars, the Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA) announced Tuesday.

Jed Dy, Avinash Iyer, and Keshav "KC" Mungali earned the prestigious honor, which recognizes collegiate golfers for their excellence in academics, athletics, and character.

To qualify, student-athletes must be a sophomore, junior, or senior academically and athletically, maintain a stroke average under 76.0, compete in at least 50% of their team’s competitive rounds, and uphold a minimum cumulative career GPA of 3.2. Recipients must also be in good standing and of high moral character.

“We’re incredibly proud of Jed, Avi, and KC for this well-deserved recognition,” said San José State men’s golf head coach John Kennaday. “Their commitment to academic achievement and athletic performance exemplifies what it means to be a Spartan.”

A total of 556 NCAA Division I golfers from 190 schools received the honor in 2024–25. San José State joins a select group of institutions across the country with multiple honorees.
