SAN JOSE, Calif. - The San José State men's water polo team has released its schedule for the 2025 season. The Spartans will play 21 matches in 2025, including nine home games and three exhibitions. The Spartans will open the regular season on Aug. 29 against UC Santa Barbara in San Diego, Calif. as a part of the Triton Invitational.
NOTABLE DATES:
- Aug. 29-31: The Spartans will open the 2025 season at the Triton Invitational with games against UC Santa Barbara (8/29), Long Beach State (8/30), La Verne (8/30) and USC (8/31)
- Sept. 6: SJSU will compete against American River College and UC Davis as a part of the Aggie Invitational
- Sept. 14: SJSU will face Cal on the road
- Sept. 19: The Spartans will face off against Team China in an exhibition at the SRAC
- Sept. 26: San José State will hold its official home opener against Stanford at the SRAC
- Oct. 3: The Spartans will open WCC conference play at home against LMU
- Oct. 4: SJSU will host the BW Invitational and compete against UC Davis and UC Santa Barbara
- Oct. 25-26: SJSU will compete in the Julian Fraser Memorial. The Spartans will face Pomona-Pitzer at Santa Clara (Oct. 25) before returning to the SRAC to face Fordham (Oct. 26)
- Nov. 9: The Spartans close out the regular season with a non-conference match against UC Irvine on the road
- Nov. 21-23: The WCC Conference Championships, held in USAFA, Colo.
