MOBILE, Ala. – San José State quarterback Walker Eget has been named to the 2026 Panini Senior Bowl Top 300 list, the organization announced Wednesday.

A California native, Eget started a career-high seven games in 2024, throwing for 2,504 yards on 188 completions with 13 touchdowns. He helped lead the Spartans to a program-record third consecutive bowl appearance and a memorable Thanksgiving weekend victory over Stanford.

The Senior Bowl scouting department—made up entirely of former NFL scouts—evaluated more than 2,000 prospects from all levels of college football to compose the Top 300. This year, the organization shifted from last season’s 850-player watchlist to a more exclusive group, underscoring its mission to identify and showcase the nation’s best talent.

The Senior Bowl has long been a proving ground for NFL hopefuls. In fact, 50 percent of players selected in the top three rounds of the 2025 NFL Draft were Senior Bowl participants.

Eget is the first Spartan to earn a spot on a Senior Bowl list since Viliami Fehoko and Cade Hall in 2022.
