DAVIS, Calif. – Charlotte Memoly scored the game-winning goal to secure the first win for the San José State women’s soccer (1-2-0) team in a 2-1 match against UC Davis (1-1-1).
Paige Pineda-Aliamus opened the scoring in the 24th minute off an assist from Sophia Martel before the Aggies equalized just before halftime. With the match level late, Memoly delivered the game-winner in the 87th minute.
The Spartans and Aggies each tallied 12 shots, while goalkeeper Bente Pernot made two saves to secure the win.

- Both Pineda-Aliamus’ and Memoly’s goals are the first of their collegiate careers
- Pineda-Aliamus recorded five shots and four on goal
