STANFORD, Calif. - The San José State Spartans and the Stanford Cardinal will meet in the annual Bill Walsh Legacy Game at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday, September 27, at Stanford Stadium, the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) announced Monday. The game will be broadcast nationally on the ACC Network, marking the first time in program history that San José State football will appear on the network.
The Spartans are aiming for their second consecutive victory over the Cardinal in the Legacy Game after a thrilling 34-31 win at CEFCU Stadium in 2024. This year’s matchup will be San José State’s first visit to Stanford Stadium since 2013 as they look to secure their first win in Palo Alto since September 9, 2000.
