SAN LUIS OBISPO, Calif.—Morgan Graves and Naima Foster each recorded seven kills as the San José State volleyball team fell at Cal Poly, 3-0 (25-20, 25-14, 25-20), Sunday afternoon in the final match of the Mustang Invitational.
- Lolo Fonua added six kills and hit .455 for the match (6-1-11).
- Nazare Judd led the defense with a season-high 14 digs and added two assists.
- Fatimah Hall recorded 19 assists and eight digs, while Clara Christensen had seven assists in two sets played.
- Ava Hewitt-Smith had two big solo blocks, while Alyssa Bjork and Sariah Johnson combined for a block.
UP NEXT – The Spartans return to the Bay Area for four matches this week. The team hosts crosstown rival Santa Clara Tuesday night, beginning at 6 p.m., inside Spartan Gym. SJSU then plays at the USF Challenge, starting with San Francisco on Wednesday and CSUN on Friday. Both matches start at 6 p.m. The Spartans and Dons then play again on Saturday at 1 p.m.
