HONOLULU, Hawaii—Fatimah Hall recorded the first double-double of the year for the San José State volleyball team as the Spartans fell to Utah State, 3-0 (25-23, 25-23, 25-19), on Wednesday afternoon in the team’s first match of the OUTRIGGER Invitational.
- Hall recorded season highs of 23 assists and 11 digs in her first double-double as a Spartan. She also had four kills and two blocks.
- Lolo Fonua and Morgan Graves led the team with six kills each.
- Morgan Castaneda and Ava Hewitt-Smith each recorded five kills against the Wolverines.
- Nine Spartans recorded at least two kills in the match.
- Hewitt Smith led the team with three blocks, two solo and one assist.
- Randilyn Reeves added nine digs, four assists and a service ace.
- Nazare Judd led the Spartans with three service aces and had five digs.
- Katie O’Sullivan recorded two of the team’s six service aces in the match.
