Spartans' Winning Streak Comes to an End Against San Francisco

SAN JOSE, Calif. - Ruben Flores-Thomas had two shots on goal to lead the San José State men’s soccer team (3-1-0, 0-0-0 WAC) in a 3-0 loss to San Francisco (4-1-0, 0-0-0 WCC) Thursday night at the Spartan Soccer Complex, presented by Habana Cuba.

San Francisco struck early, finding the back of the net twice in the first 12 minutes of the game. The Spartans put pressure on the Dons, generating eight shots, including four on target, but were unable to break through. The Dons added a third goal in the second half to seal the game.
