SAN JOSE, Calif.- Paige Pineda-Aliamus scored her fifth goal of the season to lead the San José State women’s soccer team (1-10-3, 0-3-3 MW) to a 3–2 loss to San Diego State (6-2-5, 2-0-3 MW) on Sunday at the Spartan Soccer Complex.
The Spartans tied up the match on an Aztecs' own goal, then Pineda-Aliamus scored to give the Spartans a second-half lead. Two late goals would decide the match for the Aztecs.

- Paige Fry made four saves
- Charlotte Memoly recorded an assist on the Pineda-Aliamus goal
- Analise Martins and Memoly have now played the full 90 minutes in the past seven games
