Spartans Final Day Finishes at Fresno State Invitational

FRESNO, Calif.—Ela Freiman and Genevieve George had two top-10 finishes each to help the San José State women’s swimming and diving team on the final day of the Fresno State Invitational at the Fresno State Aquatics Center.

  • Freiman started the day finishing third in the 100 IM at 57.89 and fifth in the 200 butterfly.
  • George was seventh in the 100 IM and third in the 200 butterfly.
  • Keira Vail was fifth in the 100 free at 51.93.
  • Vilma Lindberg finished 10th in the 200 breaststroke and was 12th in the 100 IM.
  • The 400 freestyle relay team of Lais e Silva, Vail, Nikki Lahey and Dalton Sickon finished fifth at 3:29.79.

UP NEXT – The Spartans host UC Davis next Saturday, October 18th at 10 a.m. at the SRAC.
