SJSU's Ladkani to rejoin the Lebanese National Team

BEIRUT - San José State's women's soccer team freshman Maryam Ladkani will rejoin the U20 Lebanon Women's National Team this week, as officially announced by the Lebanese Football Association. 

Ladkani, a Santa Clara, Calif. native, will continue to showcase her skills on the international level on the global stage. Ladkani was previously called to her international duty for the AFC Women's Asian Cup 2026 qualifiers that took place in China this past July. 

Ladkani has played in 14 games and started 11 of them this season. She currently has 30 shots with 14 being on goal.

  • Played three seasons of soccer at Granada Islamic High School
  • Has played for the senior and U20 Lebanon Women's National Team
  • Had two game-winning goals in the Surf Cup (2024)
