SAN JOSE, Calif.—Morgan Graves had a team-high 13 kills, and Fatimah Hall had her eighth double-double of the season as the San José State volleyball team fell to Grand Canyon, 3-1 (27-25, 23-25, 18-25, 20-25) Thursday night inside Spartan Gym.
- Graves was one of seven Spartans (9-11, 4-5) to record three or more kills in the match.
- Hall recorded 38 assists and 15 digs for her eighth double-double of the season and 14th of her collegiate career.
- Talita Gonçalves recorded a career-high 24 digs, her second 20+ digs match of the season.
- Learden Lee hit .333 for the match with eight kills on 18 attempts and only two errors.
- Morgan Castaneda came off the bench to lead the team with two service aces and contributed three aces, six digs and two assists.
- Mariana Buchanan and Naima Foster each had six kills in the match.
- The Spartans won the first set 27-25, getting the final point on Buchanan’s only service ace of the night.
