SAN JOSE, Calif.— Samu Biros recorded a game high of four goals for the second game in a row to lead the No. 8 San José State men's water polo team (9-6, 3-1 WCC) in a tight 10-9 loss against No. 5 Fordham (15-3, 6-0 MAWPC) on Sunday morning at the SRAC for the second and final day of the Julian Fraser Memorial.
- Following Biros on the offensive front, Sam Keightley achieved a hat trick, while Maro Tiozzo and Giancarlo Marquez each contributed one goal.
- Mitchell Keightley helped with the offense, dishing out four assists as Mateja Bosić tallied three and Erik Duesund one.
- On the defensive front, Brendon Gyapjas, Biros and Bence Kristok each drew two steals and Louis Fehrensen and László Szieben one.
- Marquez recorded a game high of five drawn exclusions.
- Gyapjas tallied 18 saves in net for the Spartans
