SAN JOSE, Calif. – Javaughn Hannah paced the Spartans with 17 points and 8 rebounds to lead the San José State men's basketball team in a 73-60 victory over Cal State East Bay in an exhibition Monday night from Provident Credit Union Event Center.

The Spartans came alive in the second half, outscoring the Pioneers 37–22 behind a balanced scoring effort led by Hannah and Sadraque NgaNga.
Yaphet Moundi recorded a double-double, consisting of 10 points and 11 rebounds, while NgaNga added 14 points on 5-of-6 shooting to go along with two steals. Colby Garland tallied 12 points and two assists, while Ben Roseborough contributed seven points, five assists and two blocks from the backcourt.
