
SAN JOSE, Calif.- The San José State men’s soccer team has clinched a spot in the 2025 WAC Tournament. The Tournament will be held from Nov. 9-15 at Cal Baptist University in Riverside, Calif.
This will be the ninth consecutive season the Spartans have qualified for the event. The Spartans are looking to return to the WAC Tournament championship game for the second year in a row and third time in the last four years. The Spartans have not won their conference since 2003 when they were a member of the MPSF.
The Spartans will host Air Force on Sunday at 1 p.m. for their final game of the regular season. With a win or a draw against Air Force, the Spartans will face San Diego State in the first round of the tournament. With a loss, the Spartans will face Grand Canyon.
The Spartans will celebrate Senior Day against Air Force, honoring seniors Eamon Fakhri, Edgar Guerra, Javier Lopez, Anthony Guzman, Niklas Dossmann and Angel Iniguez. The Spartans will also recognize fifth-year seniors Kaylob Walker and Tomislav Jozinovic.
SJSU’s match against Air Force will also mark Head Coach Simon Tobin’s final home and regular season game. Tickets can be purchased here. The match can also be watched on NBC Sports California.
