SAN JOSE, Calif.- The San José State men’s basketball team (3-4, 0-0 MW) will host UC Irvine (4-4, 0-0 Big West) at the Provident Credit Union Event Center on Sunday at 2 p.m. The game can be watched on NBC Sports California and the Mountain West Network and can be heard on KTRB 860 AM.
- The Spartans are looking to return to postseason play for the third time in four years which would be the best stretch in program history
- Last season, the Spartans competed in the NIT for the first time since 1981
- The Spartans' 46 wins over their last three seasons is the most wins since the team won 46 games from 1985-88 while in the Big West conference
- This is the first game of a four game home stand for the Spartans. SJSU will play eight of their next 11 games at the Provident Credit Union Event Center

- Yaphet Moundi has four double-doubles so far this season. His four double-doubles are tops in the Mountain West and tenth most in the nation.

- Roseborough and Jermaine Washington are the team's leading three point shooters. Both are averaging 2.43 threes per game, tied for seventh most in the conference
- Roseborough is shooting .425 percent from beyond the arc while Washington is shooting .395
- Washington is averaging the second most minutes per game in the Mountain West this season. His averages of 11.7 points and 2.6 assists per game are career-bests
