COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - San José State's Paige Pineda-Aliamus was named to the Mountain West All-Newcomer Team for the 2025 season, the conference announced on Monday.
Pineda-Aliamus, who transferred from City College of San Francisco, is the first Spartan to be named to the MW All-Newcomer team since Kennedey Mayo in 2023.
Pineda-Aliamus played and started in all 18 games this season. She led the team with seven goals, five of which came in conference play. Her five conference play goals was tied for the second most in the Mountain West.
Pineda-Aliamus closed out the season by scoring in back-to-back games against Utah State and Fresno State, both on the road.
