SAN JOSE, Calif.—Maya Anderson recorded her first career double-double to help lead the San José State women’s basketball team to an 83-40 win over Cal State Monterey Bay Thursday night inside the Provident Credit Union Event Center.
- Anderson tied her career high with 18 points and grabbed a career-best 12 rebounds in the win.
- Kaliyah Dillard came off the bench to score a career-high 10 points and grab a season-high six rebounds.
- Amira Brown was the second Spartan with double-figure rebounds, grabbing 10 in the win, her second game this season with double-digit boards.
- Katarina Anderson came off the bench to score eight points and dished a season-high seven assists.
- Allie Cummins added eight points and four rebounds, while Harisa Mehmedovic scored a career-high seven points on 3-of-5 shooting from the field.
- In all, 12 Spartans scored in the game.
- Defensively, San José State had seven blocked shots, led by Gabriela Pato with three.
- Jonas Chatterton recorded his first victory as a collegiate head coach.
