SAN JOSE, Calif. - The 2026 Bill Walsh Legacy Game between San José State and Stanford has been rescheduled for the 2031 season at CEFCU Stadium, the schools jointly announced Tuesday. The adjustment was made due to the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) going to a nine-game conference season.
The next installment of the Bill Walsh Legacy Game will now take place on November 25, 2028, at Stanford. In addition, the programs have agreed to add another game to the series, scheduled for September 6, 2036, also at Stanford.

- Sept. 12 vs. Cal Poly (CEFCU Stadium)
- Sept. 19 vs. Fresno State (CEFCU Stadium)
