ONE FINAL NON-CONFERENCE GAME:  San José State takes a break from Mountain West play, after just one game, to play fellow CSU school Sacramento State this Sunday inside the Provident Credit Union Event Center. Both teams enter the day on losing streak as each lost on Wednesday night. The Spartans fell, 83-60, at Wyoming, while the Hornets lost, 61-55, to San Francisco inside the Chase Center.

San José State is looking for its second consecutive win at home after defeating Cal State Monterey Bay, 83-40, on December 11. This will be just the fourth home game of the season for SJSU.

TV: The San José State-Sacramento State game can be seen in the Bay Area on NBC Sports Bay Area with Daniel Barrera and Ashlee Jones on the call.

ABOUT SACRAMENTO STATE:  The Hornets enter Sunday’s game with a 6-6 record after falling, 61-55, Wednesday night to San Francisco at the Chase Center. Sacramento State defeated MW foe Nevada 65-45, to start the season, but fell in overtime, 70-67, to future MW school UC Davis. Head coach Aaron Kallhoff is in his third season at the helm of the program.
