SAN JOSE, Calif.- The San José State men’s basketball team (5-7, 0-1 MW) will host San Diego State (7-4, 1-0 MW) at the Provident Credit Union Event Center on Tuesday at 7 p.m. The game can be watched on the CBS Sports Network and can be heard on KTRB 860 AM.
- The Spartans are looking to return to postseason play for the third time in four years which would be the best stretch in program history
- Last season, the Spartans competed in the NIT for the first time since 1981

- Washington is averaging the third most minutes per game in the Mountain West this season. His averages of 10.8 points and 3.2 assists per game are big jumps from last season when he averaged 4.4 ppg and 1.0 apg
- Pasha Goodarzi is shooting .529 from three this season
- Over the last five games, Melvin Bell Jr. averaged 7.4 ppg, including a career-high 12 points against New Mexico (12/20). Bell has also recorded six steals in that span, including three steals against Stanford (12/13)
