FORT COLLINS, Colo.—Amira Brown scored a career-high 22 points and shot 50 percent from the field as the San José State women’s basketball team fell at Colorado State,75-60, Saturday afternoon in a Mountain West game.
- Brown was 7-for-14 from the field, making three three-pointers, and 5-for-6 from the free throw line.
- She also led the team with nine rebounds and dished out two assists.
- Maya Anderson added 14 points, five rebounds, five assists and four steals.
- Five other players scored in the game including Amelie Sitterud who came off the bench and scored a career-high seven points. She also grabbed three rebounds and blocked one shot.
- Kaliyah Dillard tied her season-high with three blocked shots.
- The Spartans had an 18-17 lead after the first quarter, taking the lead on a Kat Anderson layup with four seconds remaining.
- SJSU held the lead for 9:37 of the game.
